I am hopeful there will be a bill passed in 2005, but depending on the other issues the Congress must deal with, it could be later than that. The bill currently introduced in the House adds several requirements for accrediting agency recognition. One would require them to determine whether institutions comply with the new transfer of credit provisions also in the legislation. This would require schools to consider credits for transfer earned at any school accredited by a recognized agency.
