Where does PNG get most of its foreign aid from?
PNG gets about AUD300 million in foreign aid from Australia every year since independence. It also gets aid from the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank. Australian aid is often called boomerang aid because it has been claimed that 80 percent or more of the money goes back to Australian companies to do project work in PNG.
