Where does my money go? How much actually helps protect the rainforest and the planet?
Through a variety of exclusive agreements with various land owners in Brazil and around the world, RainTrust plans to protect millions of acres of rainforest and other biodiverse forest lands. As a result of our participation in a number of these innovative partnerships and private / public initiatives around the world, RainTrust has become the “heart, soul, and social-conscience” of one of the most comprehensive rainforest preservation efforts in the Amazon, if not the world. The RainTrust Foundation will help train and equip local rainforest people (including those of indigenous tribes) to protect the land from forest fires, as well illegal poachers and loggers, while they’re receiving fair trade wages for gathering fruits, nuts, medicinal plants, tapping rubber trees, and performing other forest-friendly activities.
