Where does most of the imagery come from?
YW: I can’t say really. Little ideas just come to me from time to time I guess. Sometimes it’s stuff I see or live out, sometimes it’s stuff from my imagination. When we hung out with Times New Viking, they talked about how insular it can be being an artist in Ohio, and how you kind of have to do your own thing. But, that bands tend to support each other, with little regard to ‘genre’. What do you think has been the biggest effect on your music having been based in the Bay for a while now, versus what you were achieving in Cincinnati? Do you think location has any bearing on your sound? I think that the people you are around affect you more than anything. I found that in Cincinnati, music was somewhat of a secret hobby for me. I never really told the people I worked with and what not what I was doing with my 1 or 2 music friends.
