Where does Mold come from?
Molds (fungi) are from the decay of organic matter in an outdoor environment. Mold spores are ever-present in our outdoor environment and are virtually unavoidable; however, when fungi spores are introduced into the indoor environment and combined with these three elements: (water, a food source, and temperature) they can form colonies and proliferate. Mold growths in an occupied area are a symptom caused generally by a water loss event.
