Where does knowledge translation fit in and how do you plan to fund it within the programmatic research Funding Opportunity?
The expectation is that knowledge translation is integrated in the program of research. The manner in which knowledge translation is addressed will be different from one program of research to another. You may want to ask knowledge translation questions as part of the letter of intent stage. The knowledge translation funding, currently, will be part of the overall amount of funding offered per program of research ($400,000/yr for up to five years), therefore knowledge translation activities should be built into the budget from the outset.
