Where does infrastructure figure in the GHIF programs?
GHIF assesses public and/or private infrastructure available for proposed housing and recommends functional financial solutions as needed. The lack of core urban housing infrastructure can be a fatal obstacle for affordable and bankable housing, and equally for progressive housing loans. Housing projects must be serviced with roads, an electrical grid, water delivery and waste disposal systems as well as accessible communications technology.
