Where Does GreenMark Plant trees?
GreenMark has access to large tract of suitable land for both reforestation planting sites and new forest sites. Identified area ready for planting includes the Mariveles-Bataan-Zambales mountain ranges, Sierra Madre mountains and parts of Bicol region, Leyte, Samar and Northern Mindanao areas. More areas are available in the future. We work very closely with DENR and farmers to identify tracts of land that are considered less productive. This results in two significant benefits. Firstly the farmers are able to generate an income from land that previously has not provided a financially viable yield and secondly by integrating trees into the cropping program the environmental benefits assist in improving overall production.
