Where does energy come from that powers Earths weather and ocean circulation?
The energy that powers earth’s weather and ocean currents basically comes from the Sun. Sunklight is absorbed by various earth surfaces in differing amounts and therefore heats differently causing different densities of air and water, and finally resulting in currents bieng set up to distribute that heat.
