Where does EMWD get its ET data from?

0

EMWD obtains daily evapotranspiration (ET) data from HydroPoint Data Systems’ “ET Everywhere.” HydroPoint specializes in the analysis and publication of weather-related information. EMWD selected HydroPoint over other alternatives due to their ability to model EMWD’s service area and provide accurate daily ET data for each customer. EMWD has a very large service area stretching 542 square miles with many diverse topographical features like hills and valleys. With such geographical features, weather data can vary significantly. To accomplish this, 50 microzones were created. Microzones are small geographical segments assigned unique ET values.
