Where I live most dust is pulverised sand from the Sahara Desert that has the consistency of talcum powder. The picture shows yet another load being dumped on us.

Dust is blowing about in the environment all the time, kicked up by storms throughout the world. I wouldn’t be surprised if I just dusted some off of my coffee table that came from China..
