Where does an unallied integrator differ from most integrated supply services providers?

An ‘unallied’ integrated partner (UIP) is a neutral supplier operating in partnership with the client, without the need to champion any particular brand or product range. UIPs do not have the high overhead or stock, associated with standard distributors or stockists and, therefore, do not need to apply the high mark ups to the products and services delivered to the client, preferring to source goods and services from the client’s approved OEM and Proprietary suppliers, applying a flexible charge dependant upon the level of value add the UIP provides. All items and services procured on behalf of the client are data cleansed, to identify savings opportunities through ‘badged sourcing’ inventory redistribution and leveraged spend, such savings are passed back in full to the client. The integrated service provider will deliver value-added reporting, administrative, warranty and technical support coupled to a door to door logistics services within their agreed margin.
