Where does AmRent get its information?
We maintain our own proprietary database and supplement our data with outside sources. The AmRent database is dynamic and grows every minute of each day. What make us different from other screening companies is our grass roots effort to collect hundreds of thousands of rental records each year directly from property management companies. This contribution of data, called Rental Xchange, allows AmRent to deliver the most comprehensive on line rental records available within the industry. Not only do we get manual records including move in, move out records and skips, but we upload entire resident databases out of property management software packages. Field representatives collect public records including evictions filed, granted, dismissed and satisfied directly from courthouses and use electronic downloads when available.
