Where does a five-year-old learn that it is okay to strangle another child?
One of my friends from college recently graduated and started teaching. I was talking to her last night about her class and how she enjoys teaching. I was very surprised at what she told me. All I can really say is times really are changing. My friend majored in Early Childhood Education. Now she is wonderful with children and I always knew she would make a great teacher. Her dream grade to teach would have been either the third or the fourth grade. She has always wanted to teach children the state capitals. Things did not work out this way for her though. When she went for interviews she found that they really needed Kindergarten teachers. She wasnt going to be picky. She really needed a job and could not wait to be out on her own. So she gladly took the position teaching Kindergarten students. Now for her school started in the beginning of August and the students soon arrived in the school a week or so later.
