Where do you think Lebron will rank among the greatest NBA players of all-time?
“He might even give Michael a run. He’ll certainly be in the top five. He’s an extraordinary talent. But he still has to be tested. You know, basketball is a sport — you and I wouldn’t be talking if I hadn’t captained six world championship teams. Baseball, for instance, they focus on individual achievements. But what you’re remembered for in basketball is what the team you’re involved with accomplishes. So like I say, we wouldn’t be talking if the Celtics hadn’t won six championships and eventually won 11 out of 13. So it’s the unit that’s important. Up until now, Lebron has had a great individual career. This is not his fault in any way. This is the first time he’s had the talent surrounding him to get the job done. Let’s see if he can.
