Where do you think a celebrities right to privacy begins and ends?
I believe that when you become a celebrity, you pretty much forfiet “public” privacy. When a celebrity enters a building, I don’t think a pap should be allowed to follow inside, but out & about, well it’s part of the game. I will use Jessica Alba as an example. She is always scowling, and looks down right biotchy when the paps take her pic outside. Then you see her promoting, and she’s all smiles and happy. Honestly, other struggling actors, actresses, singers, etc. would die to get the attention she gets. Some celebs just need to think about that time when they wished for the fame & attention.
I think the more a celebrity lets the world in on their life, the less privacy they are going to get (well obviously). If you’re a celebrity and you want privacy, the best thing to do would be to keep your private life (family life, love life), private. If a celebrity tries to keep their private life private, then I think they do have a right to privacy, especially when it comes to their family and children and also if they’ve lost somebody or are going through any personal crisis. On the other hand, if a celebrity doesn’t really care about keeping their private life private, then they can’t expect anybody to give them privacy in regards to their personal lives. Although they should be given privacy when it comes to their family, grieving and if they’re going through a personal crisis. But because of not caring about privacy, they probably won’t get any.
