Where do you find an old lint filter for an old dryer?
I have found burners for my stove at our local salvage/junk yard. The guys are very friendly and may charge a small fee but you have to go before the stuff gets crushed. I have also found timers for my dryer. I just joined today so Im not sure what the points are for, just trying to be helpful. Some people would be offended about going to the junk yard, lol. My husband has stuff he takes to get recycyled one time I went with him and I was amazed at the appliances, we also retrieved an ice maker from a refrig. Ours was broken and this one fit perfect. I don’t know if all salvage yards let you walk through because of liability but maybe you could take your part and tell them you will pay them if they find one. Try to find a smaller salvage yard rather than a huge one. The one we have only has two people who work there. There is a bigger one in our area but they have around 50 people. The smaller ones are usually family operated and would be more helpful. Good luck!
