Where do volunteering opportunities come from in Aquatics?
Mainly through local clubs needing additional help. Sometimes competitions or organisations will advertise for event volunteers, or ASA County Workforce Coordinators may be running a recruitment programme to find new volunteers for specific opportunities. How much time do I need to give? Some volunteering requires many hours a week, some only a few each month. You should always check on how much time is required, and also how much time you are able to give. Even if you work full-time and have a busy lifestyle you should still be able to find something that suits. How long will I have to commit for? As a volunteer you are free to leave whenever you like.
