Where do USU graduates go after receiving their master s in history?
USU graduates relocate all over the world in a variety of undertakings. Some use their master s degree to acquire jobs in historical societies, museums, and publishing. One of our graduates manages the architectural archives of the LDS church; another works as the associate director of the Cayman Islands National Museum; a third works for Research and Educational Programs in the U.S. Bureau of Land Management. Some pursue careers in high school teaching. One of these has become the Director of Religious Education for the Diocese of Utah. Others teach at the junior-college level. One recent student went straight from his master s at USU to New Zealand as a Fulbright Scholar. A number of master s graduates choose to go on for their Ph.D. s.
