Where do the scouts eat and who feeds them?
The Scouts cook for themselves for breakfast and the evening meal. Each Sub-Camp has a commissary where the patrols draw their daily meals and then prepare it at their troop site. Everyone eats the same meals. Lunch is available throughout the Jamboree at Kiosks. If so inclined there are grills located near the trading posts where scouts can purchase fast food. I have heard tell of a Jamboree Catalog that has jamboree memorabilia. The Jamboree Catalog of special Jamboree items are scheduled for distribution by mail to the Jamboree participants in February 2010. They will feature a special pass code number that will allow participants to order presale items online beginning 1 March 2010. You will also be able to purchase prepaid debit cards that scouts can use instead of cash. It is a good idea to purchase souvenir items ahead of time and not have to keep up with them at the Jamboree and some items do sell out prior to the Jamboree.
