Where do the proceeds of the store go?
We do not make a profit. We are a Barnardo`s Charity store and all of the proceeds go to help local vulnerable children and their families. Q. Wellington store (in Shropshire) is the only specialist marketed “Brides By Appointment” in the UK for Barnardo`s and consequently has the largest selection of stock. All the items in the Wellington store have been donated as gifts in kind from manufacturers and retailers – meaning that the goods are brand new (generally ex-sample or discontinued lines). Other Barnardo`s stores occasionally from time to time do have bridal stock in their stores which could be a mix of new and second hand goods.
