Where do the Persuasive speech, research articles and PowerPoint go?
All of these items will be in your student folder on Beta in the folder 01_Speeches/ 05 Persuasive Title the speech LastName_Persuasive Title the Powerpoint LastName_PersuasivePPT Title the articles by the publisher Time, Detroit Free Press nimh_gov AVOID ANY PUNCTUATION MARKS in the title. Copy the full URL and paste at the top of the document. Length – The speech needs to be a minimum length of four minutes. The maximum length should not exceed ten minutes. Points will be deducted for speeches that do not meet the minimum or exceed the maximum time limit! Visual aid – You must have a PowerPoint as a visual aid to support the speech. It should be a minimum of 5 slides, but shouldnt exceed 20. Format – You will need to follow a particular format to present your case. I will offer six possibilities in class, one or more of which will be suitable for your needs. IDENTIFY the format you are using on the top of the speech.
