Where do the light weight Debris and Dust Settle if Moon is bombarded in the Quest for Water?

It will just fall back to the ground. There is no atmosphere to carry it or even slow it down. The fact that it is light does not make a difference, a feather and a bowling ball (or large rock and tiny particle of dust) dropped from a height will hit the ground at the same time on the moon. Of course the gravity on the moon is lower, but that just means that it will accelerate towards the ground (fall) a little slower than it would on a more massive body also lacking an atmosphere.
