Since most of the Telfer student clubs and associations have offices in the Desmarais building, many students gather in the student lounge (DMS 2101 and DMS 2105). Social gatherings often occur at places like Father and Sons (affectionately called FnS), in the Byward Market or in the Rideau Centre.
