Where do students go when the Health and Wellness Center is closed?
After hours, on weekends or during holidays when the Health and Wellness Center is closed the students may access a local emergency department or urgent care facility. Locations and directions are available on our website. At times, the Center medical staff may determine that a student requires further evaluation and a student may be referred to an emergency room or urgent care. Depending on the situation, either a friend may drive them or if necessary, paramedics are called for assistance and transport.
