Where do RHITs work and how much do they make?
Job opportunities for RHIT’s are abundant. Hospitals, nursing homes, outpatient clinics, physician’s practices, health maintenance organizations, rehabilitation centers, state and local health departments, insurance companies, and private industry all use RHIT’s to maintain the upkeep of patient’s health records, as well as the data abstracted from them. Graduates from the 2002-03 school year earned an average of $14.81 an hour.
