Where do rescue dogs and cats come from?
We receive our dogs and cats through various sources. Some come from owners who can no longer care for their pet and for whatever reason surrender their pets to us. Some are breeder retirees, others are strays, or are pulled from animal shelters or humane societies that would have been put to death. In some cases, we get some dogs and cats that are victims of abuse or neglect. Once these animals are in our care, we try our best to rehabilitate them to place them in permanent loving homes.
