Where do Pro Kids members come from?
The majority of our members come through our Partnership in Education with the San Diego Unified School District. During school hours we transport students from elementary, middle, and high schools each day to Pro Kids. The students receive nine classes of on-course and classroom instruction, including rules of the game, etiquette, and technique. At the end of the classes (which usually take three weeks) they are tested and if they pass, they receive a Pro Kids membership card. Depending on their level of play, Pro Kids members earn access to the putting green, putting course, driving cage, and golf course. They also earn equipment based on skill, participation, community service, and grades. Our open enrollment program allows kids to join through our after school and Saturday classes.
