Where do people buy winches for 4x4s?
they buy them for when you get stuck, ya sometimes you have other trucks there but sometimes they might not be able to get you out, with a winch all you really have to do is hook it up to a strong tree and let the winch pull it out, but you also need a good winch mount and you need a winch strong enough for what you have, if you get one to weak then you could be stuck really bad and the winch wouldn’t be able to pull you out, lets say you have a truck thats almost 5000 pounds, thats with the added lift, bigger tires, bolt ons and everything, if you get a winch thats only made for 6000 lbs then thats not going to cut it if your stuck bad because you have more weight to pull than what the truck actually weighs, its hard to explain, like you have a truck that can easily pull another truck on a level asphalt road but you put the truck in 2 feet of thick mud its going to be a lot harder to pull out so the truck won’t be able to pull the truck like it can if it was on asphalt, right now my t
