Where do I stay in Hawaii with white sandy beaches?!?
Waikiki beach is great for children, but it’s in the city. I wouldn’t say the beach is calm, b/c there are lots of people. Waikiki is a lot of fun, though. The sand was pretty white, I do remember that. On Maui, the Sheraton has a nice beachfront (Kaanapali) with great snorkeling. You would look for the Kapalua and Napili Bays are awesome for snorkeling and kids. There are a few hotels near there. The closest to Kapalua Bay is the Kapalua Resort. Napili Kai is on or near Napili Bay. Definitely within walking distance. On the south side, The Four Seasons and Grand Wailea share a nice big beach and it usually isn’t very crowded, and the Grand Wailea has a nice kid pool. You can snorkel there, too. Honestly, I don’t know of any white-sand beaches on Maui and I live here.
