Loft conversions are quite complicated. You will be needing an architect anyway. They will be the ones to prepare important designs and drawings, obtain approvals for you, and maybe get a suitable builder to manage the project.
If you can’t get a builder recommended by your architect, feel free to ask neighbors, family, and friends if they have any recommendation.
