Where do i start when remodeling my basement?
Well I literally just got finished redoing my basement. If your ceiling is in bad shape, I would definitely start with that because it’s the messiest. Next, I would probably paint so that you won’t get anything on yr new floor if you’re getting one. This will also help u decide what floor you need to match your walls. And I guess finally I would do the floor. I would suggest carpet tiles (especially if you have water leaking problems) This way, when and if something happens to the floor, you can just replace one with another tile of it. Also it looks great. Also, just a fresh coat of paint will make the cinder block walls look good (that’s what I have on one side of my basement). Good luck!
