Where do I start (pagan spells)?
Pagan is a type of spirituality. There are numerous pagan religions. Wicca is but one pagan religion, and it is not about collecting spells. Spell craft is the practice of witchcraft – which is a magical practice, not a religion in and of itself. Wicca accepts the practice of witchcraft, but does not require it. There are Wiccan witches, and there are witches who are not also Wiccan. It appears you need to clarify which practices you are actually interested in pursuing first. Wicca, witchcraft, or both? Your Book of Shadows is not just a spell book. It is a journal of your spiritual journey – a place for you to record the things you learn along the way, the rituals you hold and your experiences with them, etc. Most have their own personal book that they have created. Only when you belong to a tradition/coven do you usually copy one that is passed down from elders in that tradition – this isn’t “Charmed” where some magical book gets passed down through the generations from your great-gr
