Contact your local social services. They will\arrange a Care Manager to assess your Mum. Depending on your mums requirements she will be entitled to personal care, medication, housework, shopping cooking of light meals. She may need 3 calls a day to enable her to stay in her own home. The other option is for Mum to move into sheltered accomodation with a Warden on site to be available if there are any problems. Do NOT be pushed into doing anything you do not feel happy with. It is your Mum and you want the best for her. If you are not happy with any aspect of the care Mum gets/doesn’t get, complain and keep on if you are not satisfied.
