Where do I sell my college text books if the bookstores and online sites won take them?
Make a list of the text books and put prices next to them (make them cheaper than your first impulse, just to get them to move faster). Then make copies of the list and ask if you can post it at the college. Have strips of paper printed at the bottom (strips hanging vertically with ‘book!, your name, your phone number) so that people can rip them off and keep them to call you about buying the books. If that doesn’t appeal to you, call some used book stores in your area. They might be interested but would want you to bring the box of books so they can look at them.
