There are really two good places to start, the “commercial” listings and “government” listings. Commercial listings entail ANY position opening that a government contractor has listed online. These can be found on traditional sites like Monster or Hotjobs, but you can usually find more job openings on their respective websites. We would recommend searching for government contracting companies that provide the services similar to the ones you will provide and then searching their individual sites for jobs. Once your company is established, you can then offer to fill those positions as a sub/consultant. Easy. All government listings are found at www.fbo.gov. Click on “advanced Search” under “Find Opportunities”. On any given day there are about 50,000 requests for products and services from Uncle Sam.
