Where do I put Sims 2 downloaded Extras?
You have to put the FILE that you downloaded into the “downloads” folder, yes. But in order to get it to actually show up in your game, you have to install it, or extract it. So this next step depends on where you downoaded the items from. If you got your items from thesims2.com then all you have to do, is click open when you’ve finished downloading. (or if it’s too late for that, then all you have to do is double click the file) Then a blue box should pop up, and then you have to click install, and it should be in your game. If you got the items from another website like modthesims2.com, or other sites like that, you will probably have to extract the file, because it is most likely zipped. So you will need software to be able to do this such as “winzip” or “winrar” you should be able to download those somewhere if you don’t have them. Just check download.com.
