You’re a smart guy, so you should be able to figure it out. Why would Sony make the PS3 have the capability to play XBX games? That would only help MS make money and help Sony lose money. MS makes money by selling XBX and 360 games. Sony makes money by selling PSX, PS2, PS3 games. So, if people are buying XBX games to play on the PS3, it would only be help MS make money. Companies lose money by selling consoles. So, for every PS3 sold, Sony loses money. If people are buying PS3 to play XBX games, that would be bad for Sony. It’s losing money while MS is making money off Sony.
