Where do I get a copy of the Local Bankruptcy Rules?
You may obtain a copy of the Local Bankruptcy Rules by one of the following methods: 1. Internet They are available for downloading from the Court’s web site, www.vaeb.uscourts.gov. The file (lbr99.pdf) is in portable document format and requires Adobe Acrobat Reader to view and print. The Acrobat Reader program can be downloaded at no charge from www.adobe.com. 2. Disk An electronic copy of the file (lbr99.pdf) is available on disk from the Clerk’s Office upon request. It also requires Adobe Acrobat Reader to view and print. The Acrobat Reader program can be downloaded at no charge from www.adobe.com. 3. Hard Copies Printed copies are available through the Court’s copy service for a fee charged by the vendor. The vendors in Norfolk, Richmond and Newport News are charging a $15 fee while the vendor in Alexandria charges $25.
