Where do I find Metal King Slime in Dragon Quest 9?
At least for the Japanese version, Metal King Slimes only appear in the treasure map dungeons. There are a few dungeons that have a floor with only Metal King Slimes. But only about 20 of those dungeons were found in Japan out of the 4 million games sold, so I wouldn’t get your hopes up high. You’ll probably have to get the map from someone else instead or else spend 1000s of hours on your own trying to find it. But even if you don’t have a map with all Metal King Slimes, they still appear every so often on higher level treasure maps. But like I said, this is the Japanese version – I would like to think they changed this for the English version.
