There are a number of reference documents pertinent to the collection process. AVETMISS specification guides are available for registered training organisations that provide VET and/or Apprentice and trainee training. The AVETMISS data element definitions edition 2 is a companion document for both the VET provider and Apprentice and trainee collection specifications. This document defines the attributes of all the data elements. Providers of VET in schools also have a collectively agreed administrative arrangement based on the AVETMISS VET Provider Collection Specifications Release 6.0.
