You may find that the battery indicator shows a charge left, but iPod stops playing because the battery is, in fact, empty. In some cases, the battery indicator may show less than a full charge even though you’ve fully charged iPod for 4 hours. “Additionally, the battery meter may not update until after the iPod’s hard disk has spun up. This could result in the battery meter not showing a full charge (after completely charging) until the hard drive spins up. This does not necessarily mean something is wrong with your iPod’s battery.
