Where do I find error messages from the MySQL server?

In MWS 2, the server is managed by SMF (the Solaris System Management Facility). All messages from the server are sent to the relevant SMF log file, which is /var/svc/log/site-application-mysql:default.log. Like all SMF log files, this is readable by all and rotated on a monthly basis.
