Where do I find class objectives, grade policies, and other important information?
Most of the information you need is found in the class syllabus – if you don’t see what you need, just ask! The syllabus is an important document, so read it carefully and often! When you have a question about how the class operates, how I grade, what my philosophy of education is – check the syllabus first, then if you cannot find the information, let’s discuss the question in the “Muddy” discussion area. Yes, this is an open forum. If you have a question, others in the class also likely have a question. Discussion in “Muddy” lets the whole class air a question. If you have a really personal question, then discussion via email can work, but please use “Muddy” whenever possible.
