The Small Estate’s Affidavit does not get filed – After it is completed, you Present it to whom ever has requested it (such as a Bank, Stock broker, etc.) If the decedent left a Will, it must be filed with the Circuit Clerk’s Office and then a certified copy is attached to the Small Estate’s Affidavit.
