Hello–it sounds like you have taken a big step along the path of spiritual maturity. I say that as a Christian of many years–it’s not a bad thing to want to question and learn. You might like to read the works of Kathleen Norris–she is enjoyable, and very honest. She left the church for many years and it sounds like you are going through something very similar. She is still Christian, but went through many years of searching and changes and her faith is very different now to what it was: a more mature, humble, spiritual faith rather than rules and regulations. I’m not saying you would still be Christian just because she is, but it’s just a good starting point. You might also want to spend time in meditation and prayer to seek direction.
