Where do giant pandas live?
The giant panda currently inhabits the bamboo mountains that tower along the eastern edge of the Tibetan plateau in China. They are found on the southern slopes of the Qinling Mountains in Shaanxi province, in the Min Mountains of southern Gansu and northern Sichuan, in the Qionglai Mountains including the Balang and Jianjin ranges, and in the Daxiang, Xiaoxiang and Daliang ranges.
