They can come from many different sources. Some referrals come from our benefit assessment team, the Customer Service Points, Local Tax and other internal Departments. We get calls on our Benefit Fraud Hotline, referrals from the Public and we work closely with other Local Authorities, the Police and the Fraud Teams from the Department of Work and Pensions.
