Where do first year and transfer students typically live?

First-year students live in the residence halls throughout the main campus, among upper-class students. First-year students are grouped together in each of the halls to foster friendships and community. Transfer students will live with upper class students in Lawrence and Winthrop Halls, on the historical Brattle Campus or on the Cambridge Campus.
