Where do EMFs come from?
The largest single source is often from electrical wiring, lights and appliances in the home. In particular, hidden wiring near bedrooms can emit EMFs all night long, and nearby clocks and radios may also contribute. A second common source is from power lines both high-voltage lines (on tall metal towers) and distribution lines (on wooden poles). Computers, fluorescent lights and other equipment at work are another important source. Cell phones, cordless phones and microwave ovens may also a concern. And a common source that is usually overlooked is the automobile.
